Hạt nhựa PA6 là gì?
Polyamide PA6 thuộc dòng polymer kỹ thuật (nhựa kỹ thuật). Những loại nhựa này chủ yếu được sử dụng trong các ứng dụng kỹ thuật, trong đó yêu cầu về tính chất vật lý và cơ học!
Hạt nhựa PA6 có đặc tính tốt về sức mạnh cơ học cao, nhiệt độ làm mềm cao, chịu nhiệt, hệ số ma sát thấp, chống mài mòn, tự bôi trơn, hấp thụ sốc và làm ồn, chống dầu.
Đây là một polymer được tổng hợp bởi IG Schraker (Đức). Ông sử dụng một caprolactam làm nguyên liệu với axit-aminocaproic là chất khởi đầu. Việc sản xuất thử nghiệm sợi PA6 được thực hiện vào năm 1939 và việc thương mại hóa được thực hiện bởi công ty Faben của Đức vào năm 1943.
Đặc điểm của nhựa PA6
Do chiu được nhiệt và cách điện rất tốt nên hạt nhựa PA6 được dùng trong sản xuất công cụ điện, bánh răng, ống cuộn sợi, khung motor, vòng bi trục, máy nước nóng, máy bơm, bộ cánh quạt, dụng cụ bắt cá, công tắc điện – điện tử, cable kết nối…trong công nghiệp.
Ngoài khả năng cách nhiệt, cách điện tốt thì PA6 còn có khả năng kháng dung môi hữu cơ và nhiên liệu, đặc biệt là không gây độc hại. Cho nên hạt được sử dụng làm buồng nước làm mát ô tô, nắp bồn nước, nắp động cơ, cánh quạt, bể phốt, thiết bị lọc nước, bánh răng động cơ, hộp số điện trở…trong lĩnh vực xe hơi.
- Nhựa PA6 rất bền, nhẹ, chịu được mài mòn. Rất bền trong môi trường hóa chất. Nhựa có thể chịu được nhiệt độ thấp, dễ gia công, có độ trơn bóng cao, dễ pha màu và đặc biệt không độc hại.
- Là loại nhựa nguyên sinh được biết đến rất nhiều hiện nay. Nhựa rất cứng ở nhiệt độ thấp, có độ cứng bề mặt cao, có khả năng chống ăn mòn hiệu quả và có chỉ số sốc cơ học thấp.
- Có khả năng cách điện tốt nên được sử dụng trong nhiều cấu trúc cơ học và linh kiện.
- Là một loại nhựa nhiệt dẻo với đặc tính là chảy mềm thành chất lỏng trong nhiệt độ cao và kết rắn khi được làm nguội.
Ưu điểm – Nhược điểm của nhựa PA6
Ưu điểm:
- Có khả năng chịu mài mòn rất tốt.
- Bền, nhẹ, chịu được hóa chất và hoạt động tốt trong dải nhiệt độ rộng (từ -40 đến 100 độ C).
- Dễ pha màu, dễ gia công và không chứa các chất độc hại.
- Nhựa dễ in, nhuộm, có hệ số ma sát thấp.
- Có nhiệt độ biến dạng cao, chịu ẩm tốt.
- Có khả năng chịu va đập cao, có độ đàn hồi tốt.
- Rất an toàn với các loại thực phẩm.
- Có tính cách điện; giảm xóc giảm ồn trong các chi tiết máy khi làm việc.
- Có tính bền, nhẹ, chịu được hóa chất, chịu được nhiệt độ thấp, có độ trơn bóng cao.
Nhược điểm:
- Độ bền cơ học kém.
- Độ bền màu kém, độ bền trong môi trường bị ô nhiễm kém.
- Khả năng chống axit kém, nên không thể sử dụng để nhuộm với axit hoặc tiếp xúc nhiều trong môi trường axit.
Ứng dụng của nhựa PA6 trong cuộc sống
- Sản xuất ô tô: Nhựa PA6 được ứng dụng rộng rãi trong ngành sản xuất ô tô để chế tạo ra những vật dụng như lưới bọc nhiên liệu, bộ lọc ô tô, vật dụng đựng đồ tiêu hao, nắp đậy lốc máy, bình đựng nước tản nhiệt, bình đựng dầu máy,… Bên cạnh đó, nhựa PA6 còn được sử dụng làm linh kiện đồ điện ô tô, điều khiển,…
- Công nghiệp điện, điện tử: Ở lĩnh vực này, nhựa PA6 được sử dụng để sản xuất nồi bán dẫn, máy hút bụi, máy gia nhiệt, công tắc, điện trở,…
- Máy móc chính xác và thiết bị y tế: Nhựa PA6 được dùng để làm ống truyền máu, máy hút máu, máy truyền dịch, chỉ khâu phẫu thuật,…
- Dùng làm cánh quạt gió, đệm chống mài mòn, bảng điều khiển cấu trúc.
- Dùng làm bánh răng, chi tiết máy bơm, chi tiết chịu lực, các chi tiết trong sản xuất ô tô.
- Dùng làm bánh xe, ống lót, đinh vít.
- Dùng làm thanh ray trượt, bánh ray, ống nối.
- Ứng dụng trong ngành công nghiệp xây dựng, công nghiệp thép.
- Dùng làm bạc đỡ của các chi tiết cơ khí….
